Detailed introduction:

Rolling mill is the equipment to realize the metal rolling process. Refers to the equipment to complete the whole process of rolling material production, including main equipment, auxiliary equipment, hoisting and transportation equipment and ancillary equipment. But generally speaking the mill usually refers only to the main equipment. In the selection of rolling mill, according to the product variety, specifications, quality and output requirements to select the finished or semi-finished mill type and size, and equipped with necessary auxiliary, hoisting and transportation and ancillary equipment, and then according to the requirements of various factors to balance the final selection. The development trend of modern rolling mill is continuous, automatic, professional, high product quality, low consumption. Mill since the 60 s in the design, research and manufacture have made great progress, make the strip cold rolling mill, plate mill, high speed wire mill, H section rolling mill and rolling pipe unit, and other performance will be improved, and the speed of up to 115 meters per second wire mill, the continuous cold strip mill, 5500 mm broad h-beam mill and the continuous rolling mill and a series of advanced equipment.


System architecture:

1) the production process of cold rolling equipment is as follows:

Reinforcement raw materials →AMB600 torque control (primary motor) →AMB600 speed control (secondary motor) →AMB600 speed control (tertiary motor) → fixed-length cutting → finished


Process requirements:

In the production line of cold rolling equipment, the frequency converter AMB600, which is used to drag the primary motor (driven), is used for direct torque control, and the steel bar is pulled forward in the production process. The given torque size is an appropriate value. When the secondary motor (active) is running, the primary motor runs with the secondary motor in the system, replacing the torque motor previously used. In addition, in the actual use process, when a roll of steel bar is used, it is required to change the material, so that it can realize the inching operation of feeding in the speed mode, so that the steel bar can smoothly pass through the mechanical part of the equipment. In addition, the frequency converter AMB600 is required to be able to drive its heavy load independently within the torque command range, such as replacing the load with a thicker diameter of steel reinforcement.





Frequency converter configuration: AMB600 set.


Inverter AMB600 external electrical control part:

A. A potentiometer is connected with +10V, AVI and ACM to adjust the torque command size;

B. A button to switch the speed/torque mode, and in the case of the speed mode, the button can simultaneously realize the terminal command of the inching frequency;

C. Short connection AVI and AUI terminals;

D. short connection MI1 and MI2 terminals.

Parameter setting:

The final parameters of the frequency converter AMB600 that controls the primary motor are set as follows:

00-10=4 control mode is torque control

00-20=2 frequency specifies the source as external analog input

01-00=50 operating frequency of 50HZ

01-01=50 motor rated frequency is 50HZ

01-02=380 motor rated voltage is 380V

02-01=1 multi-function input terminal MI1 multi-speed instruction 1

02-02=32 function input terminal MI2 switches torque speed mode

03-00=1 analog AVI input as frequency/torque command

03-02=8 simulated AUI input is torque compensation

04-00=1 the first speed is 1 hz

05-02=16.9 the no-load current of the motor is 16.9a

05 - '06 R1 = 151.8 motor is 151.8 m Ω

05-07 motor R2 = 166 to 166 m Ω

05-08=471.8 motor LM parameter 471.8mh

05-09=29.9 motor LC parameter 29.9mH

05-29=200 shock compensation factor is 200

06-12=250 torque limit of 250%


Some optimizations before and after using the converter are as follows:


1) set the parameters of the primary motor and set the corresponding parameters:

00-10=4 (torque control mode);

00-20=2 (external analog of frequency command);

03-00=1 (AVI is the given frequency/torque command);

At this point, the external potentiometer is rotated and a suitable torque is input for direct torque control. At this point, the steel bar does not move forward under this torque. Only when the speed of the second-stage tensile motor is running, the first-stage tensile motor drives the steel bar forward under the torque mode.

2) realize inching operation in speed mode

When the external terminal MI2 switches to speed mode (02-02=32 torque speed mode switching), set the external terminal MI1, 02-01=1 (multi-segment speed instruction 1); 04-00=1 (the first speed is 1HZ); At this point in the speed mode of multi-speed frequency 1 can run normally. The effect after adding load is good also.

3) whether the test can drive larger load under direct torque mode

Due to the thickness of steel reinforcement material is different, after increasing the load, when the motor directly gives the torque, gradually turn the potentiometer, increase the torque command size, observe the motor response. To see if the load can be pulled before the torque is increased to full torque. Set parameters as follows: 06-12=250 (torque limit set to 250%);

When the potentiometer rotates to full position, the torque command is already large, but the load does not move; Set 03-02=8(AUI analog function is torque compensation); Adjust alone AUI analog when the effect not beautiful, are effective at the same time, adjust the volume of AVI and AUI simulation, due to an external circuit allows you to use only one analog input potentiometer, so a short answer the AUI with AVI terminal, when external potentiometer rotation, torque and torque command compensation are gradually increasing, when increases to a certain level of motor driven load operation.
